What Makes You Happy? (Most People Cannot Answer)

When I ask people what makes them happy, or what they love to do, most of them go quiet. They are not being difficult. They genuinely do not know. Somewhere along the way, the question stopped getting asked.
We get so busy on the hamster wheel, working, providing, surviving, that we forget the wheel was supposed to take us somewhere. There are good things about the wheel. It keeps us moving, it pays the bills. But if you never step off it, you never get to ask whether you are running toward anything at all.
So let us start small. You do not need a grand life purpose today. Just notice. When did you last lose track of time in a good way? What did you love before life told you to be practical? When do you feel most like yourself?
Those little clues are seeds. Pay attention to them. They are pointing you toward what your soul garden actually wants to grow.
